The author of this novel is a f*cking as*hole who deserves to be &#^$%* in the with a red hot poker.
Even going so far as stating lines like "You're now 20% more beautiful now" and other ignorant sh*t like that. Suddenly, everyone one that was avoiding her like a goddamn plague (including her worthless mother) became interested in her. more> lighter to the point that there's no longer any trace of her former self. Then, cruel reality hit me like Truck-kun hitting a shitty bland Isekai MC when I reached a certain chapter (9 or 10 I think, don't know, I was too angry to think straight after what I read) where the MC receives the "Blessing" of the Light spirit and her skin becomes. I was personally moved at first to find out that a JAPANESE author was writing a story about a girl of color striving to overcome racial scrutiny and decided to give it a read.
